.csv — Summarizer formatProve your optimizations actually worked
Amazon PPC optimization has a credibility problem: you make dozens of bid changes, add negatives, restructure campaigns — and a month later, someone asks 'did any of that help?' and the honest answer is a shrug. Ad console metrics drift with seasonality, so eyeballing before-and-after numbers rarely settles the question.
The PPC Impact Visualizer answers it with your own data. Upload a campaign report covering 30+ days, mark the date you made your changes, and the tool splits everything into before and after: spend and performance trends, campaigns that were bleeding spend with zero orders, match-type spend distribution, and your top performers post-optimization — plus a list of recommended next actions.
How It Works
- 1
Upload your campaign CSV
Export a campaign-level report covering at least 30 days — enough history on both sides of your optimization date. Processing is fully in-browser; nothing is uploaded.
- 2
Mark your optimization dates
Select the date (or dates) you made your changes. The tool splits every metric into a before window and an after window around them.
- 3
Read the before/after report
Daily spend, CPC, and orders over time; campaigns bleeding spend with zero orders; spend distribution by match type; and campaign performance compared across the two windows.
- 4
Act on the recommendations
The report ends with recommended actions — which campaigns still need attention and which changes measurably paid off — ready to print or share.
When To Use This Tool
Validate a big optimization
After a restructure or bulk bid change, get an objective before/after readout instead of guessing from noisy console charts.
Catch campaigns still bleeding
The zero-order spend view surfaces campaigns that kept wasting budget straight through your optimization — the ones to fix next.
Report results to stakeholders
Brand owners, partners, or clients get a clean visual report of what changed and what it did to spend, orders, and CPC.
Compare match-type efficiency
See how spend distributes across match types before and after — and whether your changes shifted budget toward the types that convert.
Frequently Asked Questions
Give Amazon's attribution at least 7-14 days to settle — orders attribute to clicks up to two weeks old, so the 'after' window looks artificially weak if you measure too early. For a fair comparison, use equal-length before and after windows of at least two weeks each.
Amazon attributes sales back to the click date, not the purchase date, so recent days always under-report and fill in over the following two weeks. This is also why before/after analysis beats day-by-day monitoring: mature windows give you settled, comparable numbers.
A campaign accumulating meaningful spend with zero orders across the analysis window. A little exploratory spend is normal, but campaigns that bleed through both your before and after windows are structural problems — usually poor targeting, weak listings, or missing negatives rather than bid-level issues.
Yes — run the report once per round with the respective dates. Keeping the window lengths consistent between runs makes the comparisons meaningful.
